Flowers can set the mood for any event and choosing them for my own wedding was so much fun. We wanted a fresh picked looked that tied in the outdoor rustic elegance vibe that we were going for. Instead of setting a specific color pallet we used a range of colors – peach, coral, pink, blush, orange with hints of apple and grey. Flowers were placed in various thrifted jars, including grandma’s old canning jars.
In love with the family style seating – so cozy and intimate.
A variety of flowers gives the rustic and freshly picked look. Dahlias, garden roses, snapdragons, bells of Ireland, lambs ear, hydrangea, and lisianthus complete the outdoor look.
Jars of flowers were hung by twine on the chairs to line the aisle during the ceremony. Those jars were then moved to hang from trees during the reception.
The mixture of flowers were placed along a burlap runner and mixed in with candles in smaller jars.
The color combo is exactly what I was looking for… bright, fresh, summery, and organic.
Again, thank you studio28 photo for such beautiful photographs!

These flowers were so pretty!! I love the idea of putting some in grandma’s old canning jars, so cute!
